A Lunchtime Epiphany

I just suddenly realized I do care about the Writers strike. I wonder, "How does this affect my life?", "This could affect this season of The Office." Oh! There is a lot at stake here. I've read on a few irrationally compulsive "Office" blogs that fans should expect a few weeks of re-runs - although the writers have contracted for 30 episodes. Apparently there are only two episodes in the queue.

During re-run time I'll click my way through all the deleted scenes. I can't believe this scene was axed.

I've been thinking about that myself. My Thursdays will definitely be a little darker.

Don't worry. Since The Office is a documentary, it's not affected by the writers' striking.

I hadn't heard about the strike. I am duly alarmed. What about Heroes and Earl?

How will we know that they're on strike? Will we get a diet of regurgitated potty humor and old cliches that somehow seem like re-runs?

Who writes the NFL games?

Oh man!! I hadn't heard either... I've been good with keeping it to 2 shows a week this year; The Office is one. Somehow this doesn't quite feel like an appropriate prayer request though... :-)
