The Federal Government made an electronic deposit to my bank account this morning - the economic stimulus rebate. Today I am going to stimulate my debt snowball. Two thousand four hundred dollars of consumer debt will be stimulated to oblivion.

Wow! That is alot of money! How did they put it straight into your account? Are they doing that with everybody? Or do some people just get checks? We have 4 kids too, does that mean we get the same amount as you?

Laura - here's a link to a good article explaining the rebate. Ours was direct deposit because we also had our income tax refund on direct deposit.
