Ms. Magazine

Challies Dot Com linked to this abortion absurdity this morning. I lament along with a good friend who said "I'm not sure if I am more disgusted, mad or sad." I don't know what to say. I want to speak out fiery anger right now about how literally crazy the thinking is that is going into this project. This pursuit by Ms. magazine is a bunch of crap!

They will hardly get the signatures they long for. The shame and denial are too great for some. More and more women will stand up to say I Regret My Abortion!!

What's next? Pro-Abortion? Kill all babies? My question is, what purpose will this list serve? It's a petition for abortion, which, if I'm not mistaken is still legal. I guess I don't get it. I do find it amusing, though that they call the guilt women feel "socially imposed" (hello, Holy Spirit), and anti-abortion laws "in-human." Go figure.
I'm with Carla--I think many, many women regret abortions. Someone should start a LIST of THOSE women. I wonder which would be longer.
I know, I know...blog on your own blog...blah, blah.

Someone did start a list my dearest Erin. It's called Silent No More. I guess the part of the MS. article that got me was "a womans sovereignty over her own body" Really?? Don't get me started, Pat. and Erin.

What got me was the old "had to resort to unsafe self-induced or back-alley abortions" argument. HAD to? I used to have "discussions" about this with a guy from work. They just hang onto this one like a lifeline. Shaking my head. Maybe this list is a good thing...we can pray for them by name!

I like that idea, Kelli. Good thinking.
