Men and The Church

This article puts words to many of my thoughts, concerns, and desires for the men in (and out of) the Christian body.

"The imbalance is greatest in rural churches, small churches, older churches, traditionally black denominations, and in liberal churches, Murrow said, citing research from the 1998 National Congregations Study. It’s smallest in non-denominational and Baptist churches, he said."

So we're good, right?

Seriously though, this article was really good, and made some excellent points. It really highlights what turns me off about most contemporary churches. There's no theology. It's all about the touchy feely. There's a place for touchy feely in the church, but we can't just throw doctrine out the window as if it doesn't matter.
