Tour Winner Raised In Mennonite Community

I got (somewhat) into the Tour de France this year, at least more than I ever have. It is probably because I like individual sports and because of my own training for the St. Paul Inline Marathon. I was surprised to learn that the winner this year, Floyd Landis (an American), was raised in a Mennonite family and community. I guess I am more surprised at the nickname the media has chosen for him...The Mennonite Menace. Good for Landis though, I am glad he won and that another American takes over after Lance Armstrong's retirement.

I think that is so cool for the Mennonite...
